Welcome to the Lincolnshire Volleyball Association (LVA) website.

Lincolnshire Volleyball was set up in the early 1970’s by a group who had been involved in volleyball abroad and wanted to make the sport available in the county. At first the majority of LVA members were the RAF stations. In more recent years an infrastructure of community clubs has evolved giving everyone in the county wanting to play an opportunity to enjoy this inclusive sport.

All clubs in the county are keen to encourage new players, no matter what age or ability and as part of our commitment to increase the number of people taking part in sport in Lincolnshire.

Over the past 5 years the LVA working in partnership with Volleyball England and the Lincolnshire Sports Partnership has been proactive in taking volleyball into schools. Over 10,000 children have had an opportunity to take part in high quality volleyball sessions in their school, to take part in local competitions and events and, if they have the ability become part of the junior county and regional training squads. The LVA has also been working to get as many clubs in the county through the club accreditation (Volley 123) process ensuring anyone coming into one of our club gets the best possible experience of the game.
